Welcome to Red Oak Treasure Market. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of products, custom artwork, workshop registrations, and other services offered by Red Oak Treasure Market.

By using our website, creating an account, placing an order, submitting a custom commission request, or registering for a workshop, you agree to these Terms of Service and any additional policies or terms applicable to your purchase.
Our Handmade Products
Red Oak Treasure Market creates handmade artwork, jewelry, and other handcrafted goods. The individual character of handmade work is part of what makes each piece unique.

Minor variations in stitching, color, positioning, dimensions, materials, texture, and other details are normal and should not be considered defects.
Colors may also appear somewhat different in person due to lighting, photography, and differences between computer and mobile displays.
When a listing represents a specific, completed one-of-a-kind item, the customer will receive the actual piece pictured unless otherwise stated in the listing.
Orders & Payment
Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available through our website at checkout. Payments may be processed through Wix and third-party payment processors.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, product unavailability,
technical errors, or obvious pricing or listing errors. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, an appropriate refund will be issued.
Shipping, Cancellations & Refunds
Orders are subject to our separate Shipping & Returns Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms of Service.
Because our products are handmade and often one-of-a-kind, all sales are final except as provided in those policies.
Custom Commissions
We welcome custom commissions and enjoy working with customers to transform meaningful ideas, images, and stories into handmade artwork.
Before work begins, we will communicate with you regarding the general concept, design direction, expected price, and estimated turnaround time for your commission.

Depending on the project, we may provide sketches, mockups, reference concepts, or other opportunities for you to review and approve the proposed design.

Once a design has been approved and work has begun, the commission cannot be canceled or refunded except when required by law or when Red Oak Treasure Market agrees otherwise.
Artistic Interpretation
Handmade artwork is inherently interpretive.

Unless particular details have been expressly agreed upon, Red Oak Treasure Market retains reasonable artistic discretion regarding composition, stitching, colors, materials, placement, and other creative decisions involved in producing a custom piece.
Reference photographs, drawings, inspiration images, and mockups are intended to guide the creative process. A handmade piece is not guaranteed to be an exact reproduction of a photograph, digital image, drawing, or other reference.
Materials You Provide for Custom Work
You may choose to provide photographs, drawings, written stories, artwork, reference images, or other materials as inspiration for a custom commission.
By providing material and asking us to reproduce, adapt, or incorporate it into a piece, you represent that you have the right or appropriate permission to provide and use that material for the requested purpose.
Red Oak Treasure Market reserves the right to decline a commission or particular design request, including requests involving copyrighted or trademarked material, another artist's work, or material we otherwise determine we cannot or do not wish to reproduce.
Customer-provided materials remain subject to the privacy practices described in our Privacy Notice.
Intellectual Property
Purchasing a Red Oak Treasure Market product gives you ownership of the physical item you purchased. It does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights in the underlying design or artwork.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Red Oak Treasure Market retains applicable intellectual-property rights in our original artwork, embroidery designs, patterns, photographs, illustrations, website graphics, written content, branding, and other original creative work.
Our original designs and content may not be copied, reproduced, manufactured, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission.
Custom Designs
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Red Oak Treasure Market may create future work using similar artistic techniques, themes, compositions, materials, or design elements used in a custom commission.

We will not intentionally reproduce uniquely personal elements of a commission—such as an identifiable portrait of your child, family member, pet, home, or other inherently personal subject—as merchandise for another customer without appropriate permission.
Photography of Custom Artwork
We are proud of the work we create and may photograph completed custom pieces for our portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, or examples of our work.
Unless you tell us that you would prefer your finished custom piece to remain private, we will understand that you are comfortable with Red Oak Treasure Market photographing and displaying the finished artwork.
You are always welcome to request privacy for your commission. A privacy request will not affect our willingness to work with you or the care given to your piece.
This permission applies to photographs of the finished artwork itself. It does not automatically give Red Oak Treasure Market permission to publish personal photographs, private stories, correspondence, names, or other identifying information that you provided during the commission process.
We will not identify you as the customer when displaying a custom piece unless we have appropriate permission to do so.
Workshops & Classes
Red Oak Treasure Market may offer embroidery workshops and other art and craft classes through our website.
Workshop descriptions will provide information about the particular class, including its date, location, subject matter, and any materials or participation requirements.
Workshop Cancellations
Workshop registrations may be canceled for a full refund when cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the scheduled workshop.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please contact us before the workshop when possible so we can update our attendee information.
No refunds will be provided for failure to attend a workshop without prior cancellation.
Workshops Canceled by Red Oak Treasure Market
If Red Oak Treasure Market cancels a workshop, registered participants will be offered a full refund of the workshop registration fee or the opportunity to transfer their registration to a rescheduled date, when applicable.
Red Oak Treasure Market is not responsible for incidental expenses resulting from a workshop cancellation, such as transportation, lodging, childcare, or other personal expenses.
Workshop Safety
Art workshops may involve needles, scissors, cutting implements, adhesives, paints, tools, equipment, or other materials appropriate to the particular activity.
Participants are expected to follow instructor directions and use reasonable care when handling tools and materials.
By participating, attendees acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with the activity and agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided during the workshop.
Minors at Workshops
A parent or legal guardian must register or provide appropriate authorization for a minor attending a Red Oak Treasure Market workshop and must remain present for the duration of the event.
A parent or guardian who is present solely to supervise a participating minor does not need to purchase a workshop seat unless the parent or guardian also wishes to participate in the activity.
Specific workshops may have additional age requirements based on the activity, tools, venue, or materials involved.
Workshop Photography
We may photograph or record our workshops for use on the Red Oak Treasure Market website, social media, and other promotional materials.
Where attendee images may be used for these purposes, we will provide an opportunity to indicate photography or media consent during the registration process.
Declining promotional photography consent does not prevent you from participating in a workshop. We will make reasonable efforts to respect the preferences provided during registration.
For minors, photography or media consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
Member Accounts
Our website may allow you to create a member account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account. Please provide accurate information and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.
Marketing Communications
If you voluntarily subscribe to our email or text marketing, we may send you information about products, workshops, events, promotions, and other Red Oak Treasure Market news.
You may opt out of marketing communications as described in our Privacy Notice and in the communications themselves.
Promotions, Discounts & Gift Cards
Promotions, discount codes, sales, gift cards, and special offers may be subject to additional terms stated when the offer is made.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, promotional, or listing errors. If an order is affected by such an error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund rather than fulfill it at an obviously erroneous price.
Product Safety
Red Oak Treasure Market products are not toys. Jewelry and other products may contain small parts, beads, metal components, chains, glass, wood, or other materials that may present a choking or injury hazard to young children.
Customers are responsible for using purchased products appropriately and for providing suitable supervision when products are present around children.
Acceptable Use of Our Website
You agree not to misuse our website or services, interfere with their operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, use the site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or upload malicious or harmful material.
You may not use our website or services in a manner that infringes the rights of Red Oak Treasure Market or another person.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Red Oak Treasure Market will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of our website, products, workshops, or services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
